The concept of moving towards life prioritizes the betterment of all living things so that we may pour into each other to grow in abundance and amplify the world. We are all beings of nature. When acting with that mindset, we open ourselves to multitudinous opportunities to cultivate a transformative, progressive society. A society that cherishes life rather than disregarding it for profit. Thus, leading to “all successful life.”
In a recent podcast episode of On Being, titled, “On Radical Imagination and Moving Towards Life,” author, Adrienne Maree Brown, creates an empowering frame of thought for freethinkers and leaders of the world to determine how we view the power of imagination to shape our world to move towards life. This idea of “all successful life” that Adrienne Maree Brown discusses brings forth a powerful notion that to be successful, our imagination ought to consider all aspects of natural life and our relationship with nature to create the realities we envision.
EMBRACING IMAGINATION TO SHAPE OUR WORLD
As the world gets more saturated by complex relationships, it is crucial to identify sources of joy that allow us to embrace our imagination. Through embracing imagination to shape our world, we proactively develop imaginative solutions that cater to our success. Threading together the world’s complexity can bring disempowering feelings of doubt, self-destruction, and envy, which can impede “all successful life.” Our relationship with the world is obstructed when we give into limiting beliefs, and doubt, and focus on complex problems rather than the solutions to solve them.
Often when we face problems, we approach them with concern more than we do with joy. Approaching issues with a willingness to embrace imagination gives power to possible solutions. In other words, this encourages problem-solvers to see beyond linear perspectives to divulge the most impactful solution for success. In defining a successful life, we must consider what we could be moving towards, how a successful life functions and the role imagination plays.
At Innova, encouraging one another to live up to our visionary imaginations helps us define a successful life and how it functions. To quote Jules Verne, “anything capable of being imagined will one day be made reality.” Furthermore, our determination to bring innovative ideas to reality enables us to shape our world in a positive image. There would be no innovation without imagination.
